Cypress' cuisine in classic American, featuring fresh local and regional ingredients accented with a modern flair. Executive Chef Craig Deihl creates simple yet elegant fare with retro style, incorporating wood-grilled steaks, fish, shellfish and tableside preparations. Cypress has an extensive wine list artfully displayed over a three-story 4,500 bottle wine wall. The interior evokes a decidedly modern feel while retaining the historic architectural details of the historic 1834 building. The progressive American menu is rooted in the Lowcountry but influenced by the exotic-resulting in a cuisine unique to Charleston and the Southeast. The modern meets classic styles of both the cuisine and interior design have taken Charleston's restaurant scene to a new level.
